50th Birthday(s) in Paradise!
I don’t usually take the time to review a property but I feel compelled to do so for this special location. Our group of six adults stayed for five nights in late January. The property was very clean, in working order and stocked with everything you need inside and out for a great vacation. The house is somewhat remote but was perfect for our needs– there was something for everyone to do in the expansive outdoor space– snorkeling, kayaking, cornhole, hammocks, swimming, a gorgeous beach and an amazing tiki bar! We saw tons of fish, rays, starfish, sand dollars, an octopus and had a visit from a dolphin on our last morning. Elvis was very responsive as was the homeowner. We did not take advantage of the option to have meals cooked for us but it was available. Don’t miss Leo Rose restaurant down the road in James Cistern– it sits on the beach and has a very cool vibe! Take out pizza from The Rainbow Room one mile down the road was also a nice option. HIGHLY recommend TyMan Fishing Charter & Adventures out of Spanish Wells (50 min away) for day excursion and fishing. 1-242-464–0592.
Pack light– this is a casual island. Property is 45 minutes from North Eleuthera airport, 30 min from Governor’s Harbour. We rented a car but next time would make arrangements with Elvis. Highly recommend if you are looking for a laid back trip!
